The Dream
The above pictured facility is the Diamond Guest Ranch in Republic, WA. and is an example of how we envision the ranch.
The Grounds for Love Ranch
I am taking this opportunity to share my vision and dream of a facility similar to the one shown above. This dream has been on my heart for many years and simply will not go away. It has taken this latest movement of God for me to make this dream public.
My heart is filled with the desire to continue the Grounds for Love concept and ministry into an actual non profit organization and location to serve others. Our mission would be to offer seminars and retreats in an effort to help us grow in love, to rebuild damaged and broken relationships, to help struggling families and blended families, and any other services the Lord has in mind. This would be done through programs and speakers that are aligned with the topics needed and the Word of God.
I hope to house rescued horses. I am sure the first thing that pops into your mind is why? A good question. Rescued animals can be rehabilitated and almost always become loving, gentle creatures. I have read how this happens and talked with people who have seen such animals. Our purpose is not only to offer a good home to these magnificent creatures, but to use them to show how a massive powerful animal who has been treated horribly, can turn around and be loving and gentle. These horses have their own testimony of a life turned around showing what love and caring can accomplish. I believe that people and families who may be struggling with their relationships can use the example of the horses to realize that hope is not lost and they too can have a beautiful life. During their stay at the center, they will be encouraged to adopt a horse. They would groom, feed and water them and essentially be their care taker. Many may find they can replace fear and apprehension with love. They will return home with a framed picture of their special friend as a reminder that no matter how damaged they are, they can become whole and loving.
When it is season appropriate, I would like to have a huge garden and orchard for guests to contribute some time in taking the focus off themselves and once again become comfortable working along side those they care about. In season, they would be sent out to collect what is required for the evening meal, thus contributing to each others needs and creating a sense of family.
I plan to schedule a variety of events providing income to cover expenses. Events would include retreat weekends, wedding ceremonies and receptions, business meetings, business team events, church and corporate picnics to name a few.
The facility would have guest rooms, dining hall, a chapel, kitchen, speaking/meeting room, bathrooms and showers, meditation gardens, barn, corral, walking trails and other facilities housed on several acres.
I believe there is a divine reason that this has been on my heart for so many years. If this touches your heart during your time of prayer, we would be blessed if you might include "The Vision",
the "Grounds for Love Ranch".
Thank you, love and blessings to all.

While reading a great book titled, "Resolved" by Orrin Woodward,
I was moved into a new place regarding the Vision. After reading, I reflected on the fact that I have tons of ideas, and many great ones on a regular basis. In fact, with a humble attitude toward it, I think of myself as an idea person. I began to realize there is a difference between ideas and visions. I have only had one very strong vision that I can recall and it is the ranch. Moving toward a resolved life, I believe now is the time to move on the vision. I am not sure what that means or what direction it will take but I am confident that I need to start that journey. Again, I would appreciate your prayers and as things develop, I will add to this page. Thank you so much. God bless you richly.
