Just Love Somebody. Everybody.
Love and our ability to love is an incredible gift from the Almighty, our Creator. As any giver of gifts, I imagine He is saddened when we don’t use the gifts He has given us. We are all aware of the gifts that we use in our work, school and play but the greatest gift we have been given is the capacity to love and be loved. In the scripture above, we are told that we love because He first loved us. In His mercy, grace and compassion, He shows us what authentic love looks like. He directs us to love others as He loves us. We are not to accept His love and hold it inside but share it with those around us. Love can only do what it is intended to do when it is shared.
I know as well as any of you that there are some people in our circle of life that are hard to deal with. In a great story by Dan Millman titled, “The Way of the Peaceful Warrior” and “Peaceful Warrior” movie, one of the things he says rings so true. He states “Those that are the hardest to love are usually the ones that need it the most”. I have found that to be right on. I can share many stories of how loving someone who was difficult to love has made a difference in both our lives. Jesus exhibited that kind of love over and over in Scripture. Jesus also continues to love us “even” when we are at our worst.
This site and blog is dedicated to studying the love explained in Scripture and challenging all of us to be open to loving. I believe that it is easier for us in today’s society, to say we hate someone than it is to say we love someone. It is easier to feel anger than love. Anger has become almost automatic while love seems to take great effort. That is absolutely backwards and we will have to work hard to change that. If you look above at the menu area, the main blog is titled "On Loving". My plan to offer a blog entry on the 1st and 15th of each month has changed. I believe that God continues to move in my heart and mind more often. I am open to blog once a week, maybe more as I am moved. Visit often so we can stay connected and encouraged to make our own loving difference in the world.
Let’s join together to make that change and thereby change the world. Love changed the world through the Father’s love for mankind by giving His Son that we might live for all eternity with Him. I sincerely believe that love changed the world once and love can change it again.

A Relationship with Jesus page; was set up for anyone seeking to find a relationship with Christ. When someone communicates something so well I believe it is a good thing to share that teaching. On this page I have shared what Charles Stanley has written on that topic.
Thank you for visiting us, we appreciate your time and interest. God bless you.
If you are looking for a daily teaching or something to guide your thoughts, may I make a suggestion?
Dr. Charles Stanley in Atlanta Georgia has a wonderful daily devotional. His teaching is sound and pure and is always a blessing. You can sign up for them by going to the In Touch Ministries website and entering your information. A devotional will show up in your email every day. It It is a great way to start the day. His service and preaching is also on television on Sunday mornings.
We do not have an automatic visit counter available but have done it manually the first month. We feel it is an unimportant thing to do on a regular basis and do not want to evaluate the site based on the number of visits. We believe if God touches or reaches out to one person through this site, it is more than worth any effort. Too often success in ministry is gauged by numbers and that is not our measuring stick.
It is our desire too be obedient to what we believe God has led us to do without being concerned about keeping count.
The site was created and launched on January 6, 2012 by Rich Reeder
9/12/2016 - Update: Our most sincere thanks to all of you who visit us. We checked our site visits for August 2016 and we have been blessed to have 11,182 visit for that one month alone
On June 3, 2015, we got a "Like" from a young man in Uganda. How blessed and amazing is that!
Thank you for supporting us.
